Data Scrapper

We are looking for a Data Scraper to perform various data scraping and analysis tasks.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Writing scripts for periodic web data scraping.
• Performing data cleanup and linking it with the database.
• Making Excel dashboards for data presentation and cleaning.
• Managing data scraping platforms.
• Eager to learn new tools and skills.
• Support the data team whenever required.

Qualifications

No degree is required! If you have an Undergraduate/Graduate degree in data science/economics/mathematics or a related field it’s an asset.

Skills/Ability

• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• Experience in data scraping.
• Experience in implementing Rotating IP and in bypassing Captcha & other restrictions.
• Experience in writing Python scripts for data scraping/Extraction.
• Knowledge of data mining.
• High energy level with strong motivation for achieving milestones.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Problem-Solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Good resource allocation and task execution skills
• Knowledge of database integration (Asset)
• Knowledge of data analysis tools (Asset)
• Knowledge of machine learning (Asset)
